Classes & Workshops
We provide funky and unique art classes for kids, teens, and adults either in-home or in our studio. Classes can serve as a fun after school activity, an opportunity to further develop your portfolio and have it reviewed, or a unique way to learn about various art media. You may choose from the scheduled classes and workshops below (classes and workshops are continually being added to the schedule below), or our open studio times or contact us for a more individualized art experience.
Below are the updated 2017 summer classes:
The Funky Toddler-"Messy & Magical" Summer Camp, Ages 1,2,3,4,5-$100 per child
(3 1.5-hour classes)
This class will be offered on June 20th, 21st, 22nd from 10-11:30
Students will be introduced to the art elements through an interesting and messy sensory activity. Each session will have a different theme and provide means to learn about art as well as many other funky things! Students will further explore the art elements through their creation of an original artwork.
***This class requires a parent to be present with their child.
Mom's Night Out-Craft Sesh

Open Studio, All Ages Welcome-$15 per child
Summer Open Studio Dates are on the following Mondays:
June 12th, 19th, July 10th, 17th & 31st
10 a.m-12 p.m.
Each open studio will have a different theme. This is a come and go art experience. Different art stations will be set up. From mixed media to sculpture to unique sensory activities, a variety of projects will be offered. Students can focus on one type of media or dabble in them all! Students will take home one or several original artworks!
***This class requires a parent to be present with their child.
***You must register before the open studio.
***Don't forget to get a punch card! 5th open studio will be free!
The Funky Kid-"Scientific Sculptures" Summer Camp, Ages 5,6,7,8-$120 per child
(3 1.5-hour classes)
This class will be offered on July 11th, 12th, 13th from 10-11:30
Students will learn about chemical reactions (very safe chemical reactions) and how they can be used to create art. They will also explore different sensory activities and at the end of the camp will have created a variety of two-dimensional and three-dimensional artworks.
Special Event: The Funky Crayon will be at the Kingwood Summerfest!
